TPLO Recovery FAQs

Is swelling around the ankle normal?
It’s normal for your pet to experience swelling around the ankle 3-5 days after surgery. You can help reduce the swelling through massages and ice therapy.

Can my pet climb stairs?
Try to avoid too much activity during the early recovery period, such as letting your pet run up and down the stairs. They may slowly climb up and down the stairs but always use a leash.
